SNA is one of the oldest names in Ayurveda. Established in 1920, by Ashtavaidyan Thrissur Thaikat Unni Mooss, SNA Oushadhasala and Ayurveda Nursing Home has been offering high quality Ayurveda care for over a century. We manufacture more than five hundred classical medicines and over 75 patent medicines in our high-end manufacturing unit.

There are two types of visas; you can apply for Ayurveda treatment in India. If you are going for relaxing or rejuvenating treatment stay in one of the certified Ayurveda center, resort or retreat, then the TOURIST VISA is applicable for your stay in India. However, if you have serious health problems and the visit of the hospital is necessary or you plan to stay in India longer than 7 days, then it is recommended to apply for the AYUSH Visa (AY). Ayush Visa can be obtained for medical attendant accompanying the patient too.

First step is to have a consultation with one of our doctors in outpatient department or through e mail. If doctor advises for admitted treatment, a room has to be booked. There has no advance required for reservation. Allotment of room is based on availability on the day of request.

We accept cash, Demand Drafts, VISA and Master cards (credit or Debit) and Multicity cheque (at par cheque) of Nationalized banks in India. Online transfer of amount (bank transfer) is also possible.

Generally three seasons are considered best suited for conducting treatment. They are,

Mid July – Mid August (Karkkidakam)

Mid October – Mid November (Thulam)

Mid February – Mid March (Kubham)

Because these seasons have moderate weather conditions (heat, cold and rain). The fortnights immediately before and after these three months are also considered as acceptable.

This is mainly applicable for clients who are undergoing Rejuvenate treatments. In patients, treatment would be done at the earliest without any of these considerations.

The climate is moderate. No warm clothing’s are required.

Yes. On request from patients we shall arrange vehicles through travel desk.

Yes. But if the patient needs exclusive wheel chair for whole day, he/she has to bring it .

No. Limited outings to nearby places such as temples are allowed during the day, depending upon the nature of disease and lines of treatment.

Wi-Fi is available from 9.30 am to 9.30 pm free of charge.

A standard room includes all kinds of basic facilities such as a table, chair, sofa, cupboard, television, and a private bathroom.

Cooking is not allowed in rooms.

You should bring all the relevant medical reports and clothing for your daily use.

The duration of each treatment is 45 minutes and if required more treatments/ procedures will be scheduled in each day. You have to take complete rest during the treatment period.

One attendant is allowed to stay with the patient without any extra charge. If the patient is less than 10 years of age, two attendants are allowed without any additional charge.

Yes. The attendant can also avail treatment as per doctor’s advice.

Yes. Treatment and medicine charges will be extra but not room rent.

No. Each room is exclusively for one patient and the second bed in the room is for attendant.

The patient has to pay for food. Additional services, if any, such as Physiotherapy, Yoga, Laundry etc. are chargeable.

We do not have tie up with any of the insurance companies. Hence Cashless settlement of bill is not allowed.

You have to consult your insurance agents. We do provide all relevant documents on request for getting reimbursement. Please get the list of documents required from your insurance agent before coming for admission.

Yes. We have a canteen which serves simple vegetarian foods for patient and bystanders. Room service is also available.

Limited parking facility is available.

If you arrive before 10 am, treatment can be arranged on same day.

Yes.

Admission/discharge is possible on Sundays.

The treatment is under the group of doctors headed by our Chief Physician.

Generally the duration of treatment is two weeks. However, in chronic conditions and in progressive degenerative condition the duration may be extended as per the recommendation of the physician attending the case.
